Our Story

Margo and I met in 1996 and started cooking together. There seemed to be a mutual love for the fine art of cooking and collecting recipes.

Over the years, as I am sure that it is with most cooks, the recipes became unmanageable. Scraps of paper, printed recipes, and some in cookbooks. It was starting to become a nightmare trying to find a recipe. I decided that I would try a website. It is easy to organize and find things. You can use the “search” box to find ingredients, or names. You can easily browse through the categories. Easy to access in the kitchen with a tablet. And easy to update and share.

My vision would be for this to be the final solution to the organization of our collected recipes. Also easy to make comments about what we like and don’t like, or what changes we might try the next time we use a recipe.
