I love potatoes and I love cheese. So scalloped potatoes are a match made in heaven!
You will need:
1 1/2 lb potatoes
2 tbsp butter
1 cup grated cheese
1 1/2 cup milk
1 tsp salt
Peel potatoes and slice lengthwise into 1/2 inch slices. Combine all ingredients except cheese in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Simmer 15 minutes stirring often. Transfer to a well greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender and the cheese is bubbly.
