This recipe could be for crab balls or crab cakes. We prefer the balls on saltines with a couple of drops of Tabasco!

You will need:

2 slices white bread with the crust removed and crumbled
2 tbsp mayonnaise
2 tsp Old Bay
2 tsp parsley
1/2 tsp prepared yellow mustard
1 egg beaten
1 lb crab meat

Mix bread, mayonnaise, Old Bay, parsley, mustard and egg in a large bowl until well blended. Gently stir in the crab meat. Form into balls that will fit on a saltine.

Fry in oil until golden brown. Rotate while cooking to get all sides browned. You may sprinkle with Old Bay if desired.
