Creamed Chipped Beef
1/4 lb dried beef
2 tbspĀ butter
2 tbsp all purpose flour
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp worcestershire
fresh ground pepper
Cook 4 ounces of chipped beef in 2 tablespoons of butter until edges sizzle. Blend in 2 tablespoons of flour. Slowly add 1 cup of milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick. Add Ā½ teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce and some fresh ground pepper. Serve over toast or biscuits.
