One of our favorite summertime sides! There are many variations, but here is a good and simple one.
You will need:
2 or 3 cucumbers
2 or 3 onions
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup water
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 garlic clove finely minced
Peel cucumbers and slice. Peel and slice onions. Combine in a large bowl.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour over cucumber and onions. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
