These fries were so easy and so tasty! I used vegetable oil for these, but will use peanut oil next time. I used the russets this time.

You will need:

Potatoes (Yukon Gold or Russet)
Vegetable Oil

Scrub the potatoes. Run them through the mandolin. About a 1/4″.

Wash the fries and let dry a little. Add oil and mix well. Dump them on the flat top and spread them out a little. High heat is needed. Resist the temptation to turn them too much! LOL

Should take somewhere around 40 minutes to cook.

Place in a paper towel lined bowl. Add salt and serve.
